Graphite Plate Yttria Coating Production Line
This turnkey production line applies dense yttria (Y2O3) coatings onto graphite plates, setters and saggars by atmospheric plasma spraying. The Y2O3 layer protects the graphite substrate against oxidation at temperatures up to 1,650 °C and prevents molten alloy and ceramic powder from sticking, allowing the plates to be reused for 20+ sintering cycles.
Line configuration
- SX-80 80 kW plasma spray system with SG-100 internal powder-feed gun
- Siemens PLC + HMI intelligent control, one-button recipe switching
- 6-axis robot manipulator for fully automatic spraying
- Grit-blasting pretreatment station (60–70 mesh white corundum)
- Soundproof spray booth and pulse-jet dust collector
- Water chiller and gas-electric safety center
Coating performance
- Anti-oxidation: protects graphite up to 1,650 °C
- Non-stick surface: no reaction with cemented carbide or ceramic powder
- 20+ sintering cycles per coating, re-sprayable after blasting
- Dense, uniform coating with controlled surface roughness
Typical applications
Cemented carbide sintering plates and graphite boats, semiconductor kiln furniture, vacuum furnaces and high-temperature sagger lines.
