The SX-400 is a compact, pull-type supersonic arc spray unit designed for low-cost anti-corrosion coatings and local repair work. It melts zinc, aluminum or alloy wires with an electric arc, atomizes the molten metal with high-velocity compressed air, and deposits the particles onto a prepared surface to form a dense, well-bonded coating.
